Visiting

My former pupil/student/bridesmaid came over today so I could help her with her college psychology paper--for the technical writing, not the content!  The business of my life these past months has put a strain on my ability to keep touch with what (and who) is really important.

It was so good to have a long conversation with her, stirring the bubbling soup on the stove and knowing you're in the company of someone who has really, truly seen the face of God.  His light is in her smile and reminds me of how loved I am.
