My youngest sister and sister-in-law, who is expecting the arrival of her first in August! Everyone assumes the baby is a girl. But so did we all with the Squirt, and he showed us something. My sister was so disappointed when my mom called from the hospital to tell her I gave birth to a boy. Now she is inseparable from him. Like two peas in a pod, those.
A baby girl would be a nice addition to the family. But whatever we get, it'll still feel like we won the jackpot!

ReplyDeleteI don't know. Between last week's self portrait, and this week's sister portrait, you may be converting this die-hard technicolor fan to start doing portraits in B&W as a matter of course.

Beautiful photo!! Yes, whichever sex, it doesn't matter. We didn't find out the sex of either kiddo early. People would ask us WHY we didn't want to find out...because surely we needed to plan, right? Ha! We agree that we'll love a boy or a girl and having that little surprise just adds to the occasion. :-)
