This time of year in Wales, the weather is starting to cool, and the trees are thinking about putting on their autumn finery. Blackberries are still abundant. The mountain climbers scuffle to get their last climb on Snowdon before the first storm. The children are already in their new school uniforms. The Beaumaris ice cream shop is slowing down for business. I can smell Bonfire Night, like incense, on the horizon.
In the spring, wild daffodils will lift their heads from the soil to greet Saint David.
Beautiful!! Wales sounds a lot like Maine, but richer.
